Aleezeh is a senior analyst at Power Technology Research. She leads the power grid research team at Power Technology Research in developing syndicated power grid services and manages custom research projects for various clients across the world.
Aleezeh comes from a technical background and has a M.Sc. in Electrical Power & Energy Systems and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. Growing up, mathematics was her favorite subject, so she always wanted to pursue a career within the natural sciences.
During her undergrad, she developed an enthusiasm for research and maintained that during her master’s program as well, where she completed her degree with a thesis on the topic, ‘Impact and Mitigation of Harmonics on Distribution Grid with Enhanced Nonlinear Loads’.
Aleezeh wanted to choose a career path that was related to her degree but was also not “dry” or monotonous. Consequently, this led her to the field of market research, where she continuously keeps up to date with the industry trends.
She currently leads the power grid research team at Power Technology Research. Topics under her mandate include HV switchgear, MV switchgear, power transformers, distribution transformers, substation automation and power factor correction etc. Aleezeh has several publications to her name including whitepapers and thought pieces in trade press.
As a pastime, she loves watching horror shows and movies, Mike Flanagan being her current favorite horror director.
