Nicolle Butcher, SVP of Renewable Generation and Power Markets at Ontario Power generation has received the 2021 WiRE Woman of the Year Award.
Congratulations to Nicolle Butcher, winner of the 2021 WiRE Woman of Distinction Award: Woman of the Year Award!
Nicolle is currently the SVP of Renewable Generation and Power Markets at Ontario Power Generation. As of January 2022, she will become the Chief Operating Officer accountable for 50% of the electricity produced in the province of Ontario.
In her two decades with OPG, Nicolle has been a trailblazer in all sense of the word, including breaking down gender barriers. She is the first female head of an operations group in the history of OPG.
