Monika Sharma (right) from MIDEL Ester Transformer Fluids has been chosen as a mentor in IEEMA’s Women in Power chapter. Monika is pictured here accepting the position with Dr Mira Parasuram (left). IEEMA (the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers Association), drives a ‘IEEMA Women in Power’ initiative. The concept is that career-oriented women in the power and energy sector require a structured network to meet like-minded peers to discuss and overcome challenges they may face in their workplaces. Monika commented “I’m proud to take up this role as a mentor within IEEMA. This role resonates with M&I Materials’ commitment to developing women in engineering roles. I’m looking forward to encouraging women in the power and energy sector to take an active part in the different IEEMA divisions”.
