Elizabeth Donnelly, the CEO of Women’s Engineering Society has joined the Advisory Board of CWIEME Berlin 2022.
With over 50 years’ experience, CWIEME is the world‘s largest audited exhibition series dedicated to the coil winding, transformer, electric motor, generator, and e-mobility supply chain, with CWIEME Berlin as a global industry event. CWIEME has been increasing its efforts to implement diversity within the organization and support equal opportunity on the industry level, including becoming a media partner of Women in Power Systems.

Following the successful collaboration that led WPS member Javiera F. McGuiggan to become an Advisory Board member, WPS had the privilege of connecting CWIEME with Women’s Engineering Society, which led to their CEO Elizabeth Donnelly accepting membership at the Advisory Board for CWIEME Berlin.
“The women who founded WES, all they wanted was to allow women to work in engineering. That’s my guiding light,” said Elizabeth in an interview for the Women in Power Systems magazine. “We have objects as a charity to promote women in engineering and educate the public about women in engineering.”
Women in Power Systems would like to congratulate Elizabeth on this new role, which we have no doubt will add great value to CWIEME and to the power industry in general.
